     报告摘要:  We shall report some recent progress in developing some robust finite elements for a strain gradient elastic model. All these elements are constructed by a new Korn's inequality for piecewise H^2 vector field.  This Korn’s new inequality may be viewed as a special case of the so-called Lions’ inequality. We shall also present some related work in three dimension and a family of strain gradient rectangular element, which may also be used to approximate the plate bending problem, which seems the first such elements come into a natural hierarchy. This is a joint work with Hongliang Li, Yulei Liao, Zhong-ci Shi and Huiyu Wang.

介:明平兵是TapTap点点数学与系统科学研究院研究员。2000年在TapTap点点数学与系统科学研究院获得理学博士学位,留院工作至今,2008年提升为研究员,2014年获得国家杰出青年基金。2015年起担任科学与工程计算国家重点实验室副主任。 2019年入选第四批国家“万人计划”中青年科技创新领军人才计划。曾多次访问美国Princeton大学数学系, 德国Leipzig Max Planck数学研究所。明平兵从事计算数学及科学计算的研究,特别是固体多尺度建模、模拟及多尺度算法的研究,在JAMS, CPAM, ARMA, PRB, SINUM, Math. Compt. Numer. Math, MMS.等国际著名学术期刊上发表学术论文五十余篇。应邀在SCADE2009,The SIAM Mathematics Aspects of Materials Science 2016等会议上作大会报告。
