Heat Pump Washer Dryer - A Revolution in All-In-One Washer-Dryer
A revolution is underway in all-in-one dryers and washers. We've tested two large, efficient heat pump units that dry and wash in less than two hours and use only 120-volt outlets.
In contrast to traditional clothes
tumble dryers heat pump vs condenser that blast hot air over your laundry, and let out warm, moist air heat pump combos cool the air to get rid of the moisture. They use less energy, in general, than other dryers.
What is a heat pump dryer?
Heating pumps or dryers that are ductless cool the air inside and trap moisture. This is unlike conventional dryers that heat the air with gas combustion or electric resistance and then blow out the humid, warm air through a vent, which must be vented outside. They don't have to vent to the outside since they reuse the moisture and heat within the dryer.
